Our Stories Our Elders is a book containing men and women from within and beyond the Cowra Community who provide a brief insight into their own upbringings whilst reflecting on the lives of elders.

Each of our storytellers throughout the book share stories of Elders, whether it be ones they have crossed paths with through their own lives, their families or communities, sharing both the positive and negative experiences elders had been subjected to, in the hopes that readers can learn from these stories valuing the roles of elders, their contributions and opportunities they have created for this generation through their hard work. Our Stories Our Elders covers stories of strength, determination, resilience and the importance of family.

Our storytellers include Aunty Esther Cutmore, Aunty Michelle Simpson, Uncle Cameron Bamblett, Aunty Caroline Bamblett, Aunty June Murray, Aunty Helen Murray, Willei Coe, William Ingram, Dean Murray, Rod Eastwood & Isabel Coe. Each book purchased the proceeds go back to the koori students of Cowra High School.
